The 47-year-old Decatur, Ga. woman convicted of stabbing her wife to death has now been found guilty in the earlier kidnapping and murder of her former girlfriend in September 2011.

According to cops, Pelzer was convicted on charges of malice murder and felony murder in the 2011 slaying of 35-year-old Shawndell McLeod. Her body has never been found.

Detectives say that more than a decade ago, McLeod’s frightened mother called cops to report that her daughter was missing after she failed to show up for work.

They learned that Pelzer was a serial abuser and regularly battered McLeod, who had recently ended the relationship. At the time, Pelzer was wanted for threatening McLeod with a knife.

Several days later, McLeod’s vehicle was recovered in Atlanta. There was a tarp and a spare tire in the back seat and the car was damaged with mud-caked tires.

But investigators were never able to find McLeod’s body and the case went into the cold files.

Detectives interviewed Pelzer in 2011 and she claimed she was home with her then-girlfriend, Rosalyn Lewis, and only left for a short time to walk her dogs on the day her former lover vanished.

And that’s where matters stood until August 2018 when Pelzer’s unnamed current love interest dropped a dime on her and told detectives she admitted to murdering McLeod. The sick slaying had been planned for months, the gal pal said.

Pelzer and Lewis had allegedly hired a professional hitman to kidnap McLeod from her work. The victim was held captive for several days while her killers dug her grave.

And there was another twist in the offing: In December 2018, the unnamed new girlfriend told detectives that Pelzer now planned to murder her now-estranged wife Lewis.

That tip was too late.

Several days later, officers were called to a ramshackle motel in Conyers, Ga. where they found Lewis suffering from multiple stab wounds. She later died in hospital.

Pelzer then led cops on a high-speed chase on I-75 until she was stopped by a police bullet.

She later confessed that she helped kill McLeod but claimed Lewis was the murder mastermind. McLeod’s body was allegedly buried on a local mountain but has yet to be found.

Pelzer pleaded guilty in January 2021 to killing Lewis and was serving a life sentence. She will now serve life without the possibility of parole for McLeod’s death.
