Shredding services open for Columbia County seniors


CHATHAM, N.Y. (NEWS10) — The Columbia County Keeping the Identities of Seniors Safe program is offering shredding services to seniors around Columbia County. The KISS program is available through March 22 and will assist seniors with shredding sensitive materials.

Bins will be available on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Chatham Town Hall. Sensitive materials contain account numbers, passwords, social security numbers, and any personal information. Documents include bank statements, credit card bills and receipts, legal documents, and any type of identification.
